AVS-2.0

One number, five lenses, and the evidence to inspect every component.

The AI Visibility Score is not a mysterious rank. It is a versioned composite designed to summarize visibility while preserving the components that explain it.

Presence

How often the brand is present across the weighted response set.

Share

How much of the weighted brand-mention space belongs to the brand.

Position

How prominently the brand appears when it is present.

Evidence

How well grounded answers are supported by valid, diverse and independent sources.

Consistency

How repeatably positive visibility appears across prompt-model units.

Methodology-specific weights

The score changes emphasis depending on what you are measuring.

Grounded Visibility gives more weight to evidence. Competitive Visibility increases the importance of share. Natural Visibility does not pretend web evidence exists when no web search occurred.

Strategic weighting happens at response level too.

Question weight, business importance, funnel stage and intent can increase or reduce the contribution of each response before the AVS components are aggregated. A bottom-funnel purchase question can legitimately carry more strategic weight than a low-importance awareness question.
